The term "hardscape" can be used as a broad description of many things in our industry, therefore we used it to describe anything that is "hard" in nature: paver patios, retaining walls, etc. Our talented installers measure, prep, and build landscape elements that will last for years to come. 

Retaining walls are used in many ways, but their purpose is to hold back earth or water. We use them in elevation changes, define usable areas, to create seating walls, planter beds, and many other purposes. They add value and height as well as function to outdoor spaces. 

Xeriscapes are a style of landscape design requiring little or no irrigation or other maintenance. This has been a trend on the rise for the past several years here in Colorado due to our dry climate. We can aid in the design and building in this style of landscaping. 

A paver patio is an outdoor living space constructed using individual paving stone or pavers. Typically made from concrete, brick, or natural stone, they are set on a bed of sand and mortar. With endless options available on today's market, we can guide you in selecting the right product and design for your space. 

Although retaining walls and pavers are built to last for years, at times they need repair and maintenance. But that's the beauty of pavers and blocks: they can be re-built, reset, and reused! We specialize in repair of retaining walls and pavers, including flagstone. 

At times we need a little extra separation from our neighbors, and privacy screens are a great way to accomplish this goal. There are many options out there from cedar fencing styles like the one shown above, to pre-manufactured panels, and other styles. This is element can offer extra interest as well as function. 

Fire features come in all shapes and sizes, including gas or wood burning. Depending on your design, you can plan to have movable furniture or like the photo above, you can build a seat wall to accompany your fire feature. The possibilities are open to your imagination .. or your designer's. 

We love big rocks! Incorporating a boulder wall in your design ensures the natural look of stone with the rugged texture that only comes from these giants. They're functional and natural and that can never be wrong.  

Wall seating, similar to a retaining wall, can be built to complement any paver patio or fire feature. It's functional and creates both physical and visual boundaries to your hardscape design. 

Block planters can be used with manufactured block, natural stone, wood, or other materials such as corten steal. They can be made in any shape, size, and can be utilized in almost any space. They incorporate function and beauty to any area. 

The purpose of a pergola is to create shade or a framework for lighting, climbing plants, or just visual interest in an outdoor space. They can be made from wood, steal, or a mixture of both. We have constructed many pergolas with a variety of shapes, sizes and materials.
